As a financial professional, I always hear comments like "only if I had more money things would be better" or "if I had a $1 million dollars then I would be set." Becoming financially independent is one thing but having more money is something to be desired.
In our society, we tend to equate money with success. Not it be right or wrong but the issue is that it is a general view versus a personal view.
For some, having quality time with family makes them happy. Or for others, having freedom of time to travel and pursue hobbies makes their heart content.
We are all unique with our own personal set of values. So don't "buy in" to the worldly idea that money is what makes you successful. The only determinate of success is how you define it.
I would love to hear how do you define success?
